YA and Wine Pairings for Your Wednesday

Wondering what wines to pair with your YA? Here is a sneak peek of my wine recommendations for the books I’ve read, am reading, or will be reading this week!

My Recommendations for What I’ve Read so Far This Week:

Midnight and Mistletoe at Cedarwood Lodge by Rebecca Raisin

42fd1698-4b9a-4bf2-9147-30f8573f3718

I recommend pairing this read with a nice Milanov Mulberry Wine to get you in the holiday spirit, as Midnight and Mistletoe is certainly sure to do. Check out my full review of this book here.

Girl Online Going Solo by Zoe Sugg

fc7c7b64-fc24-4631-b859-7e2f83dc27e9

I recommend pairing Girl Online Going Solo with a Sassy Bitch Chardonnay, because this book is all about the girl power and not letting anything get in the way of pursuing your dreams. Check out my full review of this book here.

My Recommendations for What I’m Reading Now:

Where Nothing Ill Can Dwell by Crista McHugh

I recommend pairing Where Nothing Ill Can Dwell with a big glass of Caelum Cabernet Sauvignon. Caelum’s galactic themed wines and cosmic labels are the perfect match for the stellar world of this novel, which is set on a remote plantet of the Bard Nebula. Check out the book’s GoodReads Description here.

The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken

I recommend a Gothic Pinot Noir, which perfectly compliments the dark themes of this novel. Also this wine gets bonus points for using Edgar Allan Poe’s work as inspiration for their wine titles and labels. Check out the book’s GoodReads Description here.

My Recommendations for What I’m Reading This Weekend:

The Book Jumper by Mechthild Glaser

I recommend pairing this read with The Scribbler Yalumba Wine, purely for the fact that the bookish themes of both perfectly compliment the another. Check out this book’s GoodReads Description here.

Definitions of Indefinable Things by Whitney Taylor

I recommend pairing this awesome contemporary read with this Francis Ford Coppola Chardonnay, because it has it’s light moments but also gets pretty intense. Check out the GoodReads Description here.

Happy reading this week, friends!

*All wine recommendations are, of course, for those of legal drinking age only.*
