My January Reads in Review

So, first of all, I’m really excited that I had so many five star reads in January! It was a really great reading month for me even though I didn’t get through quite as many books as I’d hoped.

I’m still struggling to work out a schedule where I have time to workout, blog, read, and write. I need more hours in the day and much more caffeine!

Without further ado, here are the books I read and where I’m at with my reading challenges!

Five Star Reads

Four Star Reads

Three Star Reads

Two Star Reads

Unrated As of Yet

I’ll be participating in the blog tour for this book, so my review will be posted at a later date.

GoodReads Challenge

I’m on track! Barely…

Beat the Backlist

Definitely behind schedule on this one. I think 50 may have been a bit ambitious, but we’ll see!

NetGalley/Edelweiss Challenge

Behind on this one as well, because I got some other AMAZING ARCs from publishers to review. My Feedback Ratio is currently at 60%. Eeek. So I’m definitely focusing on this one in February and no more pushing that “request” button until I’m at that golden 80%!

How was January for all of you? Are you on track to meet your goals? Did you read any of the same books I did in January? How did you rate them?

Wow! You read so many books! Impressive πŸ™‚ I also didn’t feel good with that book Roseblood either.. the cover was definitely a 5 stars for me though.. haha.. And, Carve the Mark.. I’m surprised to see you rate it 3 stars! It’s such a hype up book!

Looks like you had a super month! I read Aristotle and Dante in January too, but it just didn’t grip me as much as it sounds like it gripped you. We all have different tastes in books though and that’s what makes us unique! πŸ™‚ I’m hoping to get to Wayfarer and Truthwitch soon so I’m glad to see you enjoyed them!

It was a great month! There were a few members of our book club that didn’t love Ari/Dante as much as I did too. Most of them did, but I think Saenz is an author for those of us that love gut-wrenching YA contemporaries for sure. πŸ™‚ I hope you do get to Wayfarer and Truthwitch. I do love both of those series. Happy reading!
