This Giveaway Has Ended : Signed Copy of Carve the Mark!

Giveaway Alert! Have you gotten a chance to read Veronica Roth’s new novel Carve the Mark yet? Well if not, I happen to be giving away a hardcover copy of it, and not just any copy, it’s SIGNED by the author!

This will be a quick giveaway! The giveaway will close at midnight on 02/05, and I’ll be announcing the winner on 02/06!

Book Description

30117284.jpgOn a planet where violence and vengeance rule, in a galaxy where some are favored by fate, everyone develops a currentgift, a unique power meant to shape the future. While most benefit from their currentgifts, Akos and Cyra do not—their gifts make them vulnerable to others’ control. Can they reclaim their gifts, their fates, and their lives, and reset the balance of power in this world?

Cyra is the sister of the brutal tyrant who rules the Shotet people. Cyra’s currentgift gives her pain and power—something her brother exploits, using her to torture his enemies. But Cyra is much more than just a blade in her brother’s hand: she is resilient, quick on her feet, and smarter than he knows.

Akos is from the peace-loving nation of Thuvhe, and his loyalty to his family is limitless. Though protected by his unusual currentgift, once Akos and his brother are captured by enemy Shotet soldiers, Akos is desperate to get his brother out alive—no matter what the cost. When Akos is thrust into Cyra’s world, the enmity between their countries and families seems insurmountable. They must decide to help each other to survive—or to destroy one another.

Fans of Star Wars and Divergent will revel in internationally bestselling author Veronica Roth’s stunning new science-fiction fantasy series.

Invisibility has always been high on my list of potential super powers. Telekinesis would be next. I’m not sure if the currentgifts work quite like that. Being an Oracle like Akos’s mum sounds like much more danger that it’s worth. I’d expect paranoia to be a side effect at the very least.

I’ve always wanted to fly. The feel of it is amazing! But if I were to have super human ability, I think I’m gonna go with the ability to control the minds of the people! So I could bring them all in the wonderful world of books! 😀 Seriously, I want to have that ability.

I am really excited about this book! Has been on by TBR for awhile.
I would have to say my super human ability would be apparate/teleporting! If I could be at one place and then apparate to another miles away in a few seconds would be amazing! It would make traveling so much better and easier 🙂

OMG! I have been anticipating this book forever! I’d love to win a signed copy. Thanks for the chance! And if I could have one super human ability, I guess I’d choose… invisibility or immunity.

Can I have two superpowers? Please? Maybe? Okay, fine. The ability to transform myself to an actual Disney Princess so I can have cuddly animals do housework so I can read more. 😉 Now…I just have to go figure out how to defeat my villain…and finish entering your generous and wonderful giveaway. 😉

I think I’d go with healing. I’ve thought above super human senses, but I think it would be sensory overload until you could figure out how to filter things.
