Talking Blood Rose Rebellion with Rosalyn Eves!

We were so tremendously honored to get to moderate Rosalyn’s Salt Lake City tour stop at The King’s English Bookshop for her beautiful debut novel Blood Rose Rebellion! If you haven’t gotten a chance to read this breathtaking new YA historical fantasy, we both highly recommend it. Check out my full review here!

I always love to hear where authors get their inspiration for their stories. Here Rosalyn discusses how Blood Rose Rebellion was inspired by her fascination with 19th century history and chosen one stories.

If you haven’t gotten a chance to read Blood Rose Rebellion yet, it includes some really gorgeous, and sometimes creepy, elements from traditional Hungarian folklore. Here Rosalyn discusses some of those elements that are included in the book and a few extra tidbits she learned while living in Hungary.

Rosalyn drew a great crowd of local readers and authors, and it was so great to have so many of our YA and Wine book club members in attendance. How awesome is this book  squad?!

Book two in the Blood Rose Rebellion series will be out next year, and we can’t wait to see what Rosalyn has in store for us next! Also, how GORGEOUS is Rosalyn’s signature?! It even matches the time period of the book!

Have you gotten to read Blood Rose Rebellion yet? What did you think of it? Did you enjoy the Hungarian Folklore woven throughout the story? Who are some of your favorite authors you’ve gotten to meet?
