This week was such a fun book event week here in UT, because we got to celebrate the launch of two amazing books by two of my favorite local authors! Sara B. Larson's Dark Breaks the Dawn came out on Tuesday of this week, and Emily R. King's The Hundredth Queen came out on Thursday! Check out … Continue reading This Week’s YA Book Events!
It's been another INCREDIBLE week of book events here in Salt Lake City! We got to attend a couple of wonderful debut author events, see the highly anticipated movie Everything Everything, and meet an author whose latest book has been highly anticipated (as in anticipated for the last seven years highly anticipated.) This past week has been an amazing one with getting to attend YALLWEST, and then having author events hosted by The King's English Bookshop three consecutive night in a row! We were lucky enough to get to see Rachel Cohn on Tuesday, Sarah J. Maas on Wednesday, and Jennifer E. Smith on Thursday! That was definitely the case for me when I got to meet Nicole Castroman this … Continue reading The Pirate Takeover Tour Commandeers The King’s English Bookshop

She is an incredible person who's passionate about the topics she writes about, which definitely shines through in the text of her books.
